The fight that everyone had been waiting for finally came and went in the MMA event which took place in Nashville recently. Though the conclusion of the match wasn’t even close to what the producers had desired the Jake Shields vs Dan Henderson itself was an interesting one. When the fight started Dan Henderson gave the impression that he wasn’t going to let Jake walk away with a win but it was all too soon for that impression to be formed as soon after the first round ended at the score of 10 to 8 for Henderson we found out that Jake was just hustling Dan.
The Jake Shields vs Dan Henderson saw only the first round of the match dominated by the latter Henderson and he did manage to land a few good right hooks in the first round as Jake Shields staggered backwards trying to keep balance after receiving the blows but soon after the round finished and the second round started things started looking bleak for Dan who couldn’t keep pace with Jake who dominated Dan for the next four rounds to come. The Jake Shields vs Dan Henderson was a shorter than full length fight as it came to an end in the fifth round with a unquestionable victory for Jake Shields who was all too happy for it while giving his victory speech but then he was interrupted by Jason Miller who just ended up getting pushed around and beaten up by the number of white shirted fighters and staff who were standing there.
