James Sullivan, the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold, had passed away.

James Sullivan, the drummer of rising metal core band Avenged Sevenfold, was found dead at his home in Southern California on Monday. He was 28. The news has been confirmed by the authorities.
It appears that James Sullivan has died of natural causes. The law enforcement agencies are investigating into his death but initial reports claim that no foul play is involved.
A statement was released by the band members on the Avenged Sevenfold’s website in which the news of his death was revealed. The band stated that James Sullivan was not only a great drummer but also a brother and best friend for them.
Avenged Sevenfold was co-founded by James Sullivan and other band members in 1999. It is an American metal rock band based in Huntington Beach, California. The band’s most recent album was the no. 4 on U.S. pop album chart in 2007 and more than 500,000 copies of the album have been sold. According to the MySpace page of Avenged Sevenfold, the band was working on their fifth album.
James Owen Sullivan was better known by his nick name ‘The Rev’. He performed with Avenged Sevenfold was the drummer and a back-up vocalist for Avenged Sevenfold while worked as a lead vocalist with another band Pinkly Smooth. James Sullivan’s vocals were featured in Avenged Sevenfold’s ‘A Little Piece of Heaven’, ‘Brompton Cocktail’, and ‘Almost Easy’. Before joining Avenged Sevenfold, James Sullivan performed with Suburban Legends as a drummer.
James Owen Sullivan is survived by his wife Leana McFadden.
