Jennie Finch or as she is also known Jennie Daigle is American softball player. Jenny enjoys the status of a celebrity. Jennie Finch, the pitcher for USA National softball team recently visited Rochester Community College to inaugurate its newest winter playground (Bubble). The national softball pitcher was remained a source of attraction for more than four hundred girls who had arrived to watch the celebrity and to learn the basic things about softball. The newly built “Bubble Dome”, the sports auditorium of the college, witnessed the gorgeous ladies hitting some memorable shots. Bubble is considered the second largest of the artificial domes in the country. The dome was erected on December 3 for the occasion.
Jennei spoke highly of the facility and the administration of the college that provided such a unique facility to its students in winter to enjoy softball. She expressed her hopes that dome will provide top class experience to the students.
Jenie Finch’ team won gold and a silver medal at Summer Olympics of 2004 and 2008 respectively. The most famous softball player also plays as first base.
In September Jennie held a two day duration camp in Lewis Middle School student Madison-Madi, Folsom like Rochester Community College where girls were offered opportunities to learn about the basics of softball.
The campaign launched by Jennie serves the purpose of teaching the young girls the fundamental techniques about softball and to raise awareness among masses about Olympic Committee’s decision of dropping softball from the Olympics.
