Annie Le was regarded as a rising star in Yale. She was 24 and was working towards her doctoral degree in Pahrmacology. She worked in Amistad Street Lab conducting experiments on mice. She was found murdered by asphyxiation and her body was found in the basement of the same lab, stuffed between the cables.
Police investigation has zeroed in on Ray Clark, 24, who worked as Lab Technician at Amistad Street Lab, the same lab where Annie was working for her degree. Ray Clark failed a polygraph test by police and has scratch marks on his chest, showing struggle. He was also absent Tuesday 15th sep. ray is seen as a very controlling man. Neighbors have complained of hearing shouting and yelling sounds from the apartment at several occasions.
Jennifer Hromadka, Ray’s girlfriend and Ray were seen leaving their apartment around at the same time when police found Annie Le’s body on Sunday. Jennifer Hromadka also worked in the same lab. Some media reports have pointed fingers towards an unrequited love, but the theory has not been confirmed as yet.
A neighbor saw the couple leaving with suitcases and thought that the couple may be going for vacations.
Jennifer has extensively blogged about her relation with Ray. Her most recent blog entry reads as”Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I’m not perfect and I don’t live to be, but before you start pointing fingers make sure your hands are clean!!”.
