Jerryd Bayless makes a career high score; Trail Blazers wins with 105-102.
The Thursday night match gave an interesting basket ball game to watch. Jerryd Bayless’ career high score and Portland Blazer’s dramatic victory were the top reasons which made the match an interesting watch.
During the first three quarters of the match between Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers at Rose Garden, Portland, it was obvious the Suns would be the victors of this match. But who knew that in the end Blazers will rise to take the crown. Blazers were behind suns with a deficit of 35 on the score board until third quarter. With the beginning of fourth quarter, the whole scene changed. Jerryd Bayless was the man from Blazers who made the difference between Suns victory and Suns loss. Jerryd Bayless together with Brandon Roy made a score of 29 for the Blazers in the fourth quarter of the game and hence stole the win from Phoenix Suns. Phoenix Suns were in control for most of the time, but in last minutes the team depended too much on jump shots and hence lost the momentum.
For Phoenix Suns, Amare Stoudemire was prominent. Amare made 27 points and 11 rebounds. Steve Nash from the Suns was always dominant.
From Blazers, it was definitely Jerryd Bayless who contributed significantly. Without any doubts, Jerryd Bayless was the only dominant player in the last quarter of the game. Jerryd Bayless made a career-high score and made his injury-riddled team win the match.

Before joining Blazers, Jerryd Bayless played college basketball for Arizona Wildcats and high school basketball from St. Mary’s High School. He is 6 ft 3 in. tall and weighs 200 pounds. Jerryd Bayless was named the top Rookie of 2008 in the NBA Summer League.
