The title of the first hour of the “Grey’s Anatomy” named Good Mornings season six opening, appropriately describes the focal point of the episode: Seattle Grace is in confusion after the loss of a beloved friend. Co-star Jessica Capshaw believes she’ll do very well: “She is so on top of it, and she is so energized, and she is very sugary about it.” And on the needs-and-desires front, it would also be nice — and a healthy change of pace — to see Grey’s appearance on entire season without any on-screen haunts or off-screen contravenes. Or, if argument is obligatory, at least have the logic to be silent about it.
As in the past few seasons “Grey’s” loyalists had their commitment with off-screen drama and musty plot lines, “Good Mourning” persuaded me to continue loyalty. Things are being surprised at the hospital, but some things are also lastly declining to place, and it will be fascinating to perceive what the ultimate effect will be.
