
For Jessica Rasdall it was all about making a bad decision on the night of February, 2006. The incident happened at that night had changed Jessica’s life forever. Jessica Rasdall and her best friend, college freshmen and co-workers Lara Gorman were 18-years-old at the time, spent that night of February drinking, dancing and partying up till 3:00 A.M in the morning, then both girls got in the car with Jessica behind the wheels and they headed towards home, but they never made it.
Jessica Rasdall and Lara Gorman were friends since kindergarten both loved to dance, have fun and loved to go out and it is true that the good times might have lasted a lifetime but that February morning in 2006 had changed everything when they met an accident on Florida highway.
Jessica while driving drunk, crashed the car carrying them in a tree not far from Lara’s dorm room at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Lara was killed by blunt-force trauma to the head, whereas Jessica received physical injuries and was in a bad condition, she did recovered physically but fatal images of that night still haunt her.
She told the host of ABC TV Network “20/20” with tearful eyes that she has never blamed the incident on anyone else except herself, moreover she said that after the court hearing she stud up and said that I drank and drove and killed my best friend. She was pleaded guilty and was sentenced for a year.

Jessica Rasdall has admitted her misdeed to more than 15,000 people in the last three years, in a speech that by no means differ, unfolding the tiny details of that tragic night. At the end of the show Jessica played a slideshow attributing her late best friend, with the song “Second Chances” by Michelle Branch.
