The Notre Dame hasn’t forgotten the punch by Connecticut when they lost their last game against them and there comes another punch for Notre Dame Quarterback Jimmy Clausen. Reportedly Jimmy Clausen got punched right in the face while he was coming out of a restaurant at South Bend. A painful and shocking reminder for the Quarterback and his team, to do better in the future.
The reports exposed that Jimmy Clausen has been punched outside a restaurant CJs on Saturday by the unhappy fan. It has been reported by media that Jimmy caught up in a fight outside the South Bend restaurant when an angry and agitated fan smacked him right in the face hard. The punch was hard enough to go home with a black-eye.
The story behind the Jimmy Clausen punch is yet to be unveiled. The eye witnesses told that apparently there was nothing to quarrel about. It just happened in no time.
The CJs restaurant representative clearly denied that the incident happened inside the premises of the restaurant. He told that it all happened out side the restaurant.
One of the employees of the restaurant has elaborated that, it happened outside the restaurant, Jimmy was there with his parents, teammates and friends to dine. The issue started after an angry fan said something to the female member of Jimmy’s group, it was then that he punched Jimmy Clausen in the face leaving his with swollen eye.
Well, the team management is optimistic about Jimmy to play the upcoming games, but the reason of the incident needed to be solved and we are expecting lot more on the issue during the coming days.
