Jonathan Widawsky and Annie Le were all set to marry on Sunday 13th, 2009, but then something happened, Annie Le, 24, a graduate student at Yale University vanished from the face of the earth on 8th September just days before her marriage, it is unknown that rather she is a Runaway bride or a victim of some horrific crime until yesterday.
Everyone from FBI to Police and from social workers to her family and friends were searching for her in past week and even Yale University announced $10,000 reward money for the person who could inform about Annie Le’s whereabouts.
Police have checked the basement of the Amistad Street Building in New Haven where she last was seen entering Tuesday morning. Security-camera footage is also seen by Investigators for getting some clues about her.
Le and Widawsky were deeply in love with each other and talked constantly about their wedding and both were excited about the day according to colleagues and friends as le expressed her feelings about her wedding day in her dairy, she wrote, “Less than one week till the big day”. Yale Pharmacology Department chair Joseph Schlessinger also said that she was always talking about the wedding and was very happy. The discovery of a female body supposed to be Le in the building at 10 Amistad St. on Sunday evening — the day of her wedding, her college sweetheart — friends, family and colleagues are mourning her loss. She was upbeat, friendly, optimistic and always armed with a smile; hope police will soon reveals the secret of her missing.
