The mysterious disappearance of Natalie Holloway has made its way to the top news stories again with the Joran Van Der Sloot confession to a Dutch newspaper. Natalie was an eighteen year old student fresh out of high school who had gone to Aruba to celebrate her graduation with her friends. She was last seen getting in the car with Joran and two of his friends.
Since that time, the thirtieth of May in the year 2005, the Joran Van Der Sloot confession has come twice. In the first confession he said that he had dumped her body into the sea while in the second one he said that he had buried her in a swamp on the island. The Aruban justice department and the chief prosecutor are of the view that neither confessions can be relied upon and they hold no significance in the case since the exact location of the body hasn’t been disclosed in the Joran Van Der Sloot confession.
Right now the prosecution is in a fix because they have no real evidence to put Joran behind bars for this case. Joran who confessed the first time that while having sexual intercourse on the sandy beaches of the island Natalie started having a seizure to which he did not know what to do so he called up a friend of his to bring his boat in which he loaded Natalie so that she could be disposed off in the sea.
The court dismissed the case on grounds of not having any significant evidence through Joran has been arrested for it.
