Jordan Leopold is an American ice hockey sportsman. He plays at the position of the defenseman in the sports of ice hockey. Jordan has currently joined a new team to participate in the National Hockey League. Jordan Leopold currently has been chosen by the Buffalo Sabres who have assigned him on the post of the defenseman of their team. He has been given a contract of three years which was signed by him on Thursday 1st of July 2010. From now on Jordan Leopold will be playing for the Buffalos Sabres team in the next upcoming seasons of the Ice hockey sports. Jordan has a great career which he started in the year 2002. Before that he used to play ice hockey in his university.
At last he chose this sport to become his future profession and he started his career from the Calgary and then moved on. After ending his university games he started his professional career from the Calgary Flames. He played a lot of games with the Calgary Flames and he also participated in the championships of National Hockey League 2005. Then in 2006 he was traded into the team of Colorado Avalanche. He had an injury in the season playing with the Colorado team due to which he had to leave many of the first games. Throughout the years 2007 he had a lot of injuries due to which he could not appear in many of the matches. Jordan Leopold has also played with Florida and the Penguins and now he has been chosen by the Buffalos. From now on he will be seen in the team of Buffalos in the next season.
