In 1984 Michael and Juanita met with each other in Bennigan’s restaurant at Chicago with the help of their common friend. Their friend gave another party after some weeks and they again met there. And around after six months Michael and Juanita had become a regular dater. On 31st December 1987, Michael met Juanita at Chicago in a Fish Market and proposed her. She accepted right there but they cancelled their engagement and decided to wait for at-least one year before start thinking for the marriage.
Juanita and Michael got married in Las Vegas on 2nd September 1989 and their wedding ceremony was of only around 10 minutes. Venue was the Little White Wedding Chapel and the marriage time was very early in the morning. Juanita Jordan got a diamond ring of 5 karat from Michael. Only 4 guests attended their wedding ceremony. After the wedding ceremony Michael and Juanita signed a marriage agreement for one and a half year.
Juanita filed a case for divorce in January 2002 and stated that we have clashing differences and I need divorce. But after only one month she realized that the matters can be solved without divorce, she cancelled the petition of divorce.
Again in 2006 lawyers from both sides announced that due to the conflicting differences couple has mutually decided to end the seventeen year’s marriage relationship and this is their final decision, no more statement will be given in this regards. They have three children Marcus James Jordan, Jeffery Michael Jordan and Jasmine Michael Jordan.
