The financial benefit at the expense of moral values is hard to endure by the global civil society. The web is flooded with the buzzing sounds of the internet community when U.K. version of the poster of “Couples Retreat” did not include Kali Hawk. People are asking question as to why this has happened. They are blaming the film officials for racism because two of the actors, who were black, were not included in the poster just because they are Afro-American. Faizon Love and Kali Hawk both were not made part of the picture and every white was there. This has been done specially in the UK-version of the Poster. Now the internet community is in a state of utter discomfort over this racist promotional policy. The people are asking the question who stirred this racist wave by excluding Faizon Love and Kali Hawks from the U.K. version of the poster of Couples Retreat made by Universal. Universal has taken the stance that they actually wanted to make it plain and attractive for the British audience. But the people do not seem to be convinced and satisfied with this justification and they have detected the flaw in the universal’s argument by referring to the U.S. version of the poster that does not include both black actors. Certainly, movie-makers use different promotional out-fit in different parts of the world depending upon the specific aspirations, values and perception of the people of a certain region. But it should not adapt to negative values e.g. racism for some commercial benefit.
