The news is in, according to Nielson Media Research, Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has beaten Lifetime’s “Project Runway” being shown at the same time, in cable ratings. Not only this, the show has been at the top since third straight week being 121% more popular since the first season. No doubt the song “Tardy for The Party”produced by Kandi Bruss has contributed a lot to the rating.
Kandi Bruss is an American singer and song writer. Being cast member on the second season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” she has done a really wonderful job with Kim Zolciak singing “Don’t be Tardy for the Party”. Bravo has also released the video of the songs with a very catchy tune. Kandi Burrus would also be appearing on tonight’s “Watch What Happns : Live!”
Kandi started her career in music with R&B girl group XScape and rose to fame with their debut album Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha which received Platinum Certrification. Kandi’s released her not so popular debut album “Hey Kandi” in 2000. She got dropped by Columbia Records and then resorted as full time to song writing.
She is working on her second album Kandi Loves BLOGS, which is due to be released, later this year. She is the first female to have won ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Songwriter of the Year Award.
