Karla Homolka whose full name is Karla Leanne Homolka was born in Ontario, Canada on 4th of May 1970. Karla Leanne Teale is the other well known name of this woman. She got the attention of media across the globe being an ex-criminal of Canada. Media attracted towards this woman when she was sentenced of assassination following an appeal in the year of 1991 for the murders and rape of two local (Canadian) teenage girls.
The names of both those two teenage girls were Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy. Karla Homolka was also sentenced for the rape and murder of her own sister Tammy. There was another convict Paul Bernardo who was taken into custody in the year 1993 but was sentenced in 1995 for the murders of three teenagers of Canada. He was given the punishment of life in prison which is supposed to be the maximum allowed sentence in the country of Canada.
However Karla Homolka had represented herself as a guiltless criminal of a homicidal monster. A deal was struck by her in 1993 with prosecutors which was later on called as the “Deal with the Devil” and begged to homicide in the murders in substitute for a punishment of 12 years in prison. But later on after the appeal bargain, videotapes of her crimes were found in which she was shown an active member of the crime.
There were two sisters of Karla Homolka (Tammy, born in 1975 and murdered by Homolka in 1990 and the second one is Lori who was born in 1971). She completed her education from the “Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School” and joined a pet shop for part time work.
