Keith Olbermann made a speech “Special Comments” which emphasized the need of healthcare reforms. He narrated his own experiences and threw light on how his father went through the health care hardships and hospitalization. He deemed the existing system as absolutely rotten and requires reforms. He blamed the health-care system of the country as it is not up to the mark and losing its prime objective of taking care of its citizens.
He greatly criticized the insurance companies who have commercial viewpoint while dealing with their clients. He blames the insurance companies and considers them as a barrier in the way towards health reforms. Their only objective is to earn profits and make money as they are against the fundamental principles and rights for which America’s stands.
Then he announced that he is going to introduce free clinics to fight the menace of ill treatments and below–the–standard healthcare facilities and policies especially in those states whose senators are hindering health reforms. He has offered a detailed plan how general public may join hands with this noble endeavor. He was on air with this special comment on Tuesday according to MSNBC.
On Wednesday, his speech attracted the attention of viewers; he concentrated on “the need for meaning of health care reform in the United States”. He will make proposals to make action groups who will work in pursuance of the afore-said objectives and how patients can claim their health-care rights.
He has delivered two lectures on the health–care reforms called as “special comments”. One lecture is designed to thrash the congressmen who are backing the mala-fide health-care lobby and the other one to censure Sara Pallin’s panel declaring them as highly reckless on this very sensitive issue.
