Kelly Faughnan, Tim Tebow’s date?
Kelly Faughnan created quite a stir among the audience present at the ESPNU Awards ceremony when he brought with him a new friend. Kelly Faughnan was accompanied by Tim Tebow during ESPNU College Football Awards at Lake Buena Vista. Introducing her new friend, Tim Tebow told the press that he got to meet her and decided her to hang out with her. He told that he asked her if she would like to accompany him on the red carpet of the award ceremony and she went to buy the dress.
Kelly Faughnan is a 20-years-old girl from Clifton, Virginia. She was diagnosed with brain tumor in year 2008. Her tumor was removed recently. She had asked her father that if she could go to Disney World after her surgery. Kelly Faughnan also asked her father to attend the college football award ceremony as she wanted to see Tim Tebow.
Kelly’s father Jim Faughnan tells that she has always been a huge fan of Tebow and has been watching his game since he started his football career in Florida. Kelly Faughnan was visiting the Disney World where the football players were also present to attend an event on Wednesday. Kelly Faughnan was wearing a shirt with Tebow’s name written on it. The shirt caught the eye of an ESPN producer who asked her if she wanted to meet him. Tim Tebow spent 45 minutes with the Kelly and later asked her if she wanted to join him on the award show.
The beaming Kelly Faughnan looked extremely happy while walking down the red carpet along with Tim Tebow. Kelly’s father called Tebow an influential man who is making impact on many people’s life and especially on his daughter Kelly’s life.
