The Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings have finally come to a conclusion regarding a longstanding deal. The two teams are meant to sit down and talk today regarding the Kevin Martin trade. Shooting guard for the Sacramento Kings, Kevin Martin has been playing with the Kings since the annum 2004 when he was selected by them in the twenty-sixth overall draft.
The Kevin Martin trade is meant to give the Rockets the boost they need to get back in the top half of the winning teams. Kevin Martin who was injured for a short duration that kept him from playing in a total of fifteen games, made a good recovery and averaged an attractive twenty-four points per game for last season which went through 2008 to 2009.
The Kevin Martin Trade will be seeing a total of seven players on the list for being traded. The players in the list include: Carl Landry, Hilton Armstrong, Tracy McGrady, Joey Dorsey, Sergio Rodriguez, Kenny Thomas and Kevin Martin.
Being replaced by Tyreke Evans on the Kings team, Kevin will have to adapt to whatever team he gets traded with but that should not be a problem for the man who averaged near twenty in the 2009-2010 season in which he has played a total of twenty-two games so far. Kevin Martin was informed about this decision of trading him on Wednesday when the coach called him in to have a few words with him. Lets hope that his future for the Rockets is as promising as his past has been with the Kings.
