Kim Clijster -once No. 1 tennis player in the world returned in pro-tennis world to claim what is rightfully hers’, 26-years old, Kim Clijsters, of Belgium, was playing the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York on Sunday, Sept. 6, to trounce, Venus Williams, of the United States, who is seven times major champion of tennis .
Clijsters’ has a remarkable story, this Belgian tennis star has left tennis court couple of years ago and was much more interested in starting her family and now after spending two years with her family and dealing with day to day responsibilities, she is back to take down Venus Williams, her intensions can be proved by her match against third seated William, when she defeated her by 6-0, 0-6, and 6-4 on Sunday.
This is Clijsters third tournament since she comes back and she is still popular among her fans but interesting thing is that Kim Clijsters’ husband is getting more attention than her and capturing the interest of Clijsters fans and Internet searchers especially after her victory against third seed Venus Williams in three sets, on Sunday to proceed to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open, the couple has a little, pretty daughter, Jada.
Lynch, her husband, is a basketball player and he played college basketball at Villanova before moving to Europe to play professionally.
