Kimberly Munley, the superwoman on the military base, who restricted the damages by showing her courage and braveness when Maj. Nidal Hasan was totally out of his mind and opened the fire with two guns in his hands and killed 13 whereas wounding more than 25 yesterday afternoon.
It was another sad day in the history of America. Maj. Hasan was disturbed and angry due to his posting in Afghanistan and what he did was literally out of the cards as no one had anticipated a person like Maj. Nidal can go to such extend. He started shooting at the soldiers on the base and killed 13 of them on the spot. If it wasn’t for Sergeant Kimberly Munley the collateral damages could be more devastating.
She was present on the base with the weapons and after analyzing the worst situation she jumped in and opened fire. She also got injured during the action as a built hit her passing though both her legs. She is reported out of danger and going back to her home.
Colonel Steven Braverman, the spokesman admired the efforts of Kimberly Munley. He said, what she did was superb. She was the only armed personal on the base and she immediately targeted him to get control of the situation.
It has been reported that Maj. Nidal Hasan was a psychiatrist, who have the responsibilities to bring the soldiers back to normal from critical and extreme mental conditions but he did otherwise. He was badly injured but out of danger.
