Kirksville Tornado an EF3 hit the town and covered 19.5 miles in 21 minutes with exceeding winds of 200 Mph destroying everything and killing at least 2 people. Brutal storms that seeded at least one tornado left a trail of devastation in northern Missouri on Wednesday, killing a woman of 46 years old and a man who was 35 and destroyed dozens of structures. According to Ron Celian the Deputy Sgt. Said that city of Kirksville took the hardest hit by the tornado, damaging at least 30 to 40 homes and out of which destroying 1 completely a mobile home was tossed off by the tornado in to a pond and an auto dealership office sustained major damage. He also said that two people were injured near the auto dealership as their car was blown off the road by the Kirksville Tornado.
Rick Gardner director with Sullivan County Emergency Management said that the women Glenda Charbonnel, 46 and Shawn Michael Yarber, 35 were killed when Kirksville Tornado hit their mobile home east of Milan. Four other people including two children were also present in the mobile home at the time but survived. He also told that the Glenda’s husband and another man were in the workshop next to their mobile home they survived the tornado unharmed.
