Professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Freestyle skier Kristi Leskinen won the “The Superstars” after a tough competition of 5 days. They beat out Lisa Leslie (WNBA) and David Charvet (Melrose Place, Baywatch) and Bode Miller (Olympic skier), and Paige Hemmis (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition).
Both 2 teams struggled hard to win the competition and went side by side to decide the winner of “The Superstars” in the final show on Tuesday; which broadcasted on ABC. Professional dancer “Maksim Chmerkovskiy” and “Freestyle skier Kristi Leskinen” beat TV celebrity “Paige Hemmis” and Alpine Racer “Bode Miller” with 2-0 in a last obstruction course three-race series.
ABC show went back to 1970s for the first time in its history that every athlete was balanced with a superstar for the several physical confronts like Running, Swimming, Kayaking and Biking. The series of this competition began along with 8 teams. As per the Schedule decided, 5 shows were arranged throughout the competition from which one team was eliminated every week from the show with the help of points and also to reach at a concluding obstacle course challenge.
Kristi Leskinen and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dicided to eliminate in earlier episodes so the leading team had not faced the obstacle course before the concluding show. The duo won the first 2 heats over Hemmis and Miller to win the “The Superstars”. The winning attempt was the best ever obstacle course time in the whole series.
