Lady Gaga gave a sensational performance at the AMA 2009 but loses the award to Gloriana.
American Music Awards 2009 held at Los Angeles on Sunday and many stars graced the stage with their amazing performances. Lady Gaga surely tops the list of artists with ‘stunning’ outfits. She shone at the ceremony with her signature fashion style. Not only she performed well but she looked great too. Lady Gaga performed ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Speechless’ at the AMA 2009 and danced to her songs in a very unearthly outfit.
AMA 2009 definitely saw the next-generation style outfits as Lady Gaga appeared in her nude outfit complimented with bones while Rihanna appeared on the stage in a whit stripped catsuit. Both ladies didn’t win anything at the AMA but definitely topped the list of artists sporting the most outlandish outfits on the stage.
Lady Gaga’s performance was undoubtedly stunning. She started off with Bad Romance along with six other dancers who turned around her as she was singing and complimented the song with a very Lady-Gaga-like dance step after reaching the highest of the notes. Suddenly the music stopped and Lady Gaga walked towards her piano. The piano was cased with glass. Lady Gaga sat astride on her piano bench and started singing ‘Speechless’. Her piano was blazing with fire and when the song reached its climax, the ‘lady’ grabbed some glass bottles and smashed them on the piano. The audience was stunned and amazed; she made pose to end the song with her body covered with broken pieces of glass and her piano still blazing leaving the crowd surprised.
