Well, I must say it was a terrific interview. Lady Gaga was wearing a black colored dress at Jay Leno and every question was tackled so superbly that audiences were just out of themselves. Jay Leno kicked it off by complimenting her on her achievement during 2009 and her smashing AMA performance.
Jay Leno asked about her performance with the piano being on fire and how she managed the heat from the burning piano. She told about the rehearsal and told that at some moment she looked at the palm of her hand to check if it has got burnt. She discussed about coming Grammys and her nomination and told that technically she could not be nominated for a new artist award. She also told the cheering crowd that she cares much more about her fanship than all the “external validations”. She told about her child hood and her mom’s encouragement to make her what she is now. She told that she was a very good student, mostly getting straight A’s but she was all the time a very mischievous girl “and that she wore very short skirts to the utter discomfort of nuns in the school”.
And then the tough question about her provocative dresses, Lady Gaga kept her calm and handled the question really well. She was hilarious when she told that while in school she cared about things like Love, which she no more cares and Jay Leno complimented her mom by saying that she is very cute lady, Lady Gaga said “She is married”!!
But above all a really good performance.
