Syfy Channel is an amazing channel, yesterday on Destination Truth: Alien Mummies, Josh and his team visited Lake Van situated in Turkey; the mystery behind this lake is somewhat unique, because over 1,000 have claimed to witness the monster of Lake Van, it was not before 1995 that, this claim of seeing Lake Van Monster came into view, but it was 1997 when one Turkish assistant professor from Van University, Turkey captured a glimpse of that creature in his video camera, later sent it forf further analysis.
In the Syfy TV program Destination Truth: Alien Mummies, Josh and his team were in Turkey so decided to take a fishing trip, but that trip become an incident which is absolutely impossible for them to forget.
Josh and his team have also felt the existence of that huge Lake Van Monster many have witnessed before, according to them, something massive was lurking in the lake. According to those who have witnessed the existence of this monster, the beast is of about 40 meters with spikes on the back.
Lake Van is about 4,800 square miles, with an estimated length of 119 km and this is huge, you can compare this lake with Rhode Island.
Although, no one is able to prove the existence of this huge creature known as “Lake Van Monster”, but locals have firm believe that the creature exists.
It can be true or a hoax at the same time, but the truth which no one can deny is that, after this news came out tourism in the area has increased, which is beneficiary not only to local people but to the government of Turkey too.
