Two women kidnapped a 6-years-old child from Jo Mackey Elementary School in Las Vegas. Polce arrested two women on the charges of kidnapping. But quite interestingly, the women took the plea that it was a mock exercise to prove that the school security for the kids is not impregnable.Laurinda Drake took the 6-year-old kid in the car with her and visited several places like shopping mall, and her friend’s house. Many media reps were cotacted on fone by women and they were asked to be present at a certain place at West Sahara Avenue to hand over the child to school district officials.Both women made the point that their intention was to prove that the existing secutrity of the school children was insufficient and any body could take a child away and to emphasize the need of strict security measures .The wowmen were then arrested and sent ot jail.The child was in good physical condition and there were no symptoms of injury, force and fear. After one year, the court acquitted the accused women. But it was not because of their innocense.They refused to take the postion of plea bargain and did not pose that they were innocent but they confessed that they delibrately kidnapped the child and, certainly, committed the crime but with a postive intention to reveal the miserable security of children.The jury decided in their favour and they were aquitted.
