Drugs are just a refuge for people who cannot handle life. Layne Staley, the face and the voice of the famous band, “Alice in Chains” has lost his life but not his existence among his fans. Layne Staley one of the four outstanding voices of “Alice in Chains” has died after an overdose of heroin and cocaine in 2002, just after the release of their first studio album “Black Gives Way to Blue”.
The revolutionary grunge band has lost one of its core singers but fans are explicably looking for him among the other three and they are still comparing and contrasting his voice among the other three voices.
With his seedy blond beard and pain-laced baritone voice, Staley may have given the expression and sound to his band, but when guitarist Jerry Cantrell invited new singer William DuVall, the combination got fame outrageously because DuVall’s voice strangely similar to Staley’s and William DuVall has got his place in the band not only because his voice is similar to Staley’s but he has several other qualities that that can be described as Staley’s habits.
Consequently “Alice in Chains” has acquired a splendid voice in the form William DuVall and are not on their way once again towards the top of the list, not to mention that two of their songs are in top 20 records on the US Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, now they have received excellent appraisals for their live performances throughout and have now carried their first album since their reappearance to the public eye.
One of the most favorite band of the people will hopefully remain the most favorite because good quality, worth and harmony always proceed towards everlasting success.
