But before you see the video it is important to tell you guy’s what this expedition ended with, and what all of this was about. Latest research after “LAROSS impact” show that moon surface does holds some water, but that ratio is somewhat a litre of water in a tonne of lunar soil.
Two spacecrafts from NASA and one from India have provided the data to the researchers and observers; it was marked as India’s first mission to moon.
Researchers and observations have said that chemical signature of water and hydroxyl have been discovered on lunar surface, hydroxyl can be explained by saying that it has one hydrogen atom present, whereas water has two, and this similarity put it close to water.
Results from this mission have overturned a long-standing debate and perspective that lunar surface is completely dry and no component related to water is available on moon whatsoever. Data collected after the mission does not suggest, however, that any liquid, water or even ice is present and is available for analysis.
Many speculations have been made in the past after a through studies that there could be ice present in the craters around the lunar poles, but up till this point scientists and researchers have been unable to affirm the suspicions.
