Lee Thomas an Emmy Award winner TV Broadcaster has been suffering with vitiligo just life Michael Jackson. Lee Thomas discovered at the age of 25, that he has a small amount of white spots on his scalp but what he does not know was that these white spots is a disease known as “vitiligo” and in future half of his face will be covered with this. His career was on the peak at the times, he had a dream job and he was living in a dream city.

Vitiligo a skin disorder that turned his life upside down, ever people who knew him avoided eye contact when they saw Lee Thomas face for the first time without makeup. An entertainment reporter of ABC network Lee Thomas has wrote a book “Turning White” in which he shared his physical and mental battle he fought with the skin disorder “vitiligo”.

Thomas Lee recently working with WJBK FOX 2 Detroit has turned spotlight towards himself and his story of mental and physical battle with the disease has inspired everyone around the globe.

His book “Turning White” led him around the U.S, he spoke at many national events and literary conferences and his inspiring and enthusiastic story touched every person.

He was invited in ABC Television Network’s 20/20 and in CNN’s program Larry King Live to discuses and tell people the story of his fight against the disease.

I believe that this is not just his story but a story of so many people suffering with this skin disorder “vitiligo” and their challenges which comes in the way while fighting with this disorder.
