Lifetime TV is an American based television Channel. It was launched in 1st February in 1984.It is actually a component part of the A&E Television network. Lifetime TV was previously running with a merger with Hearst’s and aired on Sundays only. Its Headquarter is located in New York, United States. It broadcasts many popular shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Medium, Will & Grace and Fraiser.
It also has a movie channel lifetime Movie Network. The movie channel was launched in 1998.many popular primetime shows were broadcasted such as Debt and Supermarket. They also launched their own game show who knows you best? , but couldn’t continue after 1 season. They also started morning shows in 2004 which included live calls, Guests and discussions. Lifetime Real Women is also a part of the lifetime TV entertainment network. Their target markets were only women’s and now they target everyone.
Lifetime TV was criticized being a lifetime television for Idiots. Lifetime TV has aired over 550 serials since its first launch. Lifetime TV has also produced more than ninety serials. Lifetime TV can be found on the satellite service by Dish Network on channel 108 and by Direc TV on channel 252.
Lifetime TV network has an online service the lifetime Digital which was launched in 1996.The lifetime TV network has about ninety eight million users. The lifetime movie Network has seventy million users and lifetime digital has around four million users and received ninety three million page views in 2009. They also launched a channel in 2001 dedicated to women’s called lifetime Real women. Lifetime TV also received an Emmy award in 2009
