Human beings makes the bonds to live together, death breaks them for separation .Lisa Niemi has lost his husband Patrick Swayze in severe cancer. Patrick Swayze was 57 years old and was suffering from pancreatic cancer, from last 20 months. Patrick’s publicist confirmed the Dirty Dancing star’s death at his home in Los Angeles.
Swayze and Lisa Niemi were married in June 12, 1975 until his death. Their first meeting held in in 1970 when Swayze was 18 years old and Niemi was 14 years old at the time, she was dance student and was taking her lessons from Swayze’s mother. Swayze and Niemi had no children. His disease was first diagnosed January 2008
During two years of his battle against the disease, he continued to work on a small screen drama series and a memoir, which he was writing with his wife, Lisa Niemi. Niemi stood by him throughout his 20 months disease. She is grieved over his death and talked about his last wish as he recently told Lisa that her don’t want to die in a hospital room but wants go on his own terms – in their home and in his own bed.
He was a high- esteemed actor and dancer and had been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1991. The item adds, “in spite of his rep for being a romantic leading man Swayze also sounded off some serious ass in action flicks like Red Dawn (Wolverines!) and Road House.”
His family, friends and co-workers are sad for his departure.
