London Dreams has been released in cinemas today. After a series of bland, uninteresting films Bollywood did need a movie like London Dreams which could give the Indians movie fans a real reason to go to the cinemas. And it’s not just the Indian movie fans but also our very own Salman Khan who needed a movie which could make up for the loss done by his earlier film (released just weeks ago) Mein Aur Mrs. Khanna. MAMK wasn’t really a very happening movie and the conflicts between Salman Khan and brother Sohail Khan made the matter worse by giving negative publicity to the film. For the record, things didn’t really go good for London Dreams too. It had its own share of delays in release and casting bickers. That said, the film is finally rolling out in cinemas and the cast is on its way to the promotional tours for the film.
London Dreams Reviewed!
Starring Ajay Devgan, Asin and Salman Khan, London Dreams is directed by Vipul Shah. The story revolves around two heroes and it’s not often that a Bollywood film has two heroes. The story revolves around two friends whose life start in the fields of Punjab. The two then end up at the world of glitz and glamorous – the showbiz world. Arjun (Ajay Devgan) is a highly ambitious musician who wants to make it big by performing in London Wembly Arena, while his friend Mannu (Salman Khan) has natural talent but is extremely careless and not very serious about music. When Arjun insist, Mannu joins his band and becomes a star. Jealous with his success, Arjun falls in the test of friendship. But the London Dreams is not just about jealousy and ambitions; it’s a little more complex than that. Both the main characters have strong places in the film and the director has done quite justice to both of them. Asin is the common love interest and doesn’t really have a place any different from usual Bollywood Heroines.
London Dreams can be declared as one movie with good script and strong acting by the actors.
