In a developing story, shooting took place as a football game finished in Long Beach at Wilson High.
Details are still sketchy but the game was being played between Wilson and LB Polytechnic.
The event occurred on Friday night after the game, and people were seen panicking to take the cover.
There are total of three victims, two victims have sustained minor injuries, where as one female has sustained life threatening injuries, police has still not revealed the names of the victims or the attacker.
The updated condition of the victims is not known.
It is still not clear, whether all the people receiving the injuries were students or just the spectators, who have come to see the match.
Unconfirmed news is that the school is being shut down after the incident as the attacker is not confirmed to have been caught by the police and may have been at large putting the safety of the residents and students at risk.
In a separate incidence in Downtown, a policeman was shot. Details are still coming about this incidence. It may be that policeman just got injured while trying to avoid the bullets being shot.
Shooting occurred as the law enforcement agents tried to stop a car.
Whether there is some connection between the incidents, or the man who was stopped was the same as the one who undertook shooting outside the stadium is not clear.
Violent crime rate in Long Beach is low as compared to the crimes related to property.
