1 person is dead and another hurt as a car which was stolen was fired at when motoring into a gate at the Luke AFB as reported by a spokesperson for the police department upon Tues.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy Lindsey Smith told that Luke AFB got an emergency phonecall for reporting the stealing of a car. The call for the stolen car was received in Litchfield Park, AZ barely prior to midnight upon Mon.
As the deputy sheriffs came in the domain they found a car corresponding with the verbal description of the missing vehicle.
The deputy sheriffs tried to talk to the people inside the car, which were reported to dodge them for a little while but then gave up and were arrested without any further problem.
But MCSO told that the Glendale constabulary inquired a 2nd car connected with the crime.
Glendale Police Department’s Gerardo told that about midnight, their department reacted to Luke AFB for the account of a car that had motored through a door.
2 persons were present inside the car as it was droving towards a protection checkpoint.
The on-duty guard fired at the car and it crashed into the gate.
1 of the persons died and the other was hurt.
Gerardo didn’t tell whether the guy deceased due to the car crash or gun fire.
Gerardo told the Luke AFB event isn’t a terrorist act.
Personal identity of the 2 men hasn’t been brought out and the health status of the hurt man is not known at present.
