Lynn may sprint after the gubernatorial post again in Pennsylvania.
The Steelers was joined by the Lynn in 1974, when they were going on board on winning binge and win six straight AFC central division tittles and also succeeded in four super Bowl championships in six years. Swann the former USC all-America, got the privilege to be the No 1 draft pick of Steelers.
In punts returns with 577 yards on 41 returns Swann led the NFL as a rookie, it wasn’t only the club record but at the same time fourth best in NFL History. As a wide receiver he didn’t get much action but on the other hand in AFC championship game against the Oakland Raiders, his touchdown catch proved him to be a match winner and opened his ways to go further and set the stage for things to come.
Swann progressed in no time, he proved himself as a regular wide receiver in his second year. He was blessed with the fluid movements, marvelous leaping aptitude and gazelle-like speed. Right away, he established on grounds that he was a total package of American football with natural abilities.
Swann was born on March 7, 1952 in Alcoa, Tennessee, Lynn Played around nine seasons with the Steelers. He has a record pf 336 receptions for 5,462 yards and 51 touchdowns. It was a history at the time of his retirement as 364 receiving yards in four games.
He also got all pro in 1975, 1977 and 1978, he was also voted for the Pro Bowl after every season. He was one of the most exiting players of his time he was also nominated tot eh Super Bowl Silver Anniversary Team and NFL’s All-Decade Team of 1970s.
