Mackenzie Phillips reveals her life secrets in her memoir, ‘High on Arrival’. Her memoir is not released yet, however, excerpts from the book have been obtained by People magazine. The troubled actress appeared on Oprah Winfrey Show today (September 23) and talked about her troubled life and drug abuse. She also revealed some of her life’s worst experiences in her interview with Oprah. Mackenzie talked about her sexual relationship with her father. She told the hostess that she was raped on her wedding eve by her father John Phillips. According to Mackenzie, her father, who is a singer and was associated with Mamas and Papas, had intercourse with her while she was high on drugs. Mackenzie has written about the incident in her memoir as well. Mackenzie Phillips also talks about Rolling Stones Mick Jagger in her memoir who cornered her once.
Mackenzie is a troubled actress who is been charged with drug abuse and has underwent rehab twice. Mackenzie is married to Jeff Sessler. The marriage took place in 1979 and on the eve of her wedding her father used her for sexual activity. Mackenzie also told it was her father who gave her the cocaine pills. According to the actress, her father, singer John Phillips, was also a drug addict. John was even arrested in 2008 for containing drugs at Los Angeles Airport.
Mackenzie and her father John Phillips went for rehab together and even toured for a performance by a new band called New Pappas and Mamas.
Her memoir, High on Arrival, is due this week.
