It’s official now Chelsea Clinton has been engaged to Marc Mezvinsky. Chelsea and Marc sent an e-mail to their friends in which they wished all the friends a “belated Happy Thanksgiving!” and told that both are engaged and planning to get married in the summers of 2010.
Former President Clinton’s rep has also confirmed the news. There were long standing rumors about the relationship between Chelsea and Mezvinsky and in 2008, it was rumored that they had got married, however all those news were refuted by the couple. Marc Mezvinsky is Jew and is son of Edward Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky. Edward Mezvinsky is well known for his fraud that resulted in some 10 Million dollars loss to the investors. He was released from jail in 2008.
As Mezvinsky’s parent were in congress, Chelsea and Mezvinsky met in Washington. They both went to the Stanford University.
Marc Mezvinsky resides in Manhattan and has recently bought a property worth $4 Million. He is working as investment banker with Goldman Sachs.
Reportedly the couple started dating in 2005.
Chelsea Clinton remained behind the scene throughout the Clinton presidency, however she played an active role in her mother’s presidential campaign and was seen addressing crowds in universities and schools.
Chelsea is only child of former President Bill Clinton and present Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. It is said that she was raised to be a leader and may play a role in national politics.
It is not clear whether Monica Levinsky would be invited in the wedding ceremony or not!
