A celebrity, Ernest Hemingway’s granddaughter, a tragic drama, Margaux Hemingway’s life is remarkable one. In more than one way she was similar to her grandfather, as if her genes were commanding her to repeat the life of her grandfather. She was a model, actress and for her first modeling job earned the record money and yet it is a fact that she was “dyslexic”. Thinking about Maragux Hemingway’s achievements, I can just say “phenomenal”. Margaux Hemingway gained much publicity for her role in the controversial film “Lipstick”. Margaux Hemingway was named after the wine “Château Margaux” as her parents were drinking the particular variety at the time she was conceived. As her life threw her knee deep in scandals, controversy, alcoholism and drug addiction she changed the spellings of her name to Margot. Zachary Selig has a prominent role in Margux Hemingway’s life. He taught the model yoga and deep meditation, the techniques that helped Margaux throughout her life. Selig also helped her to read the scripts because of her difficulty to read. As she met an accident while skiing, she put on weight. Her weight problem caused bulimia. She was also an epileptic.
