Mark Sanford Missing

Press reports that Governor of “South Carolina” Mark Sanford has gone missing. Mark Sanford has been fighting the state administration over national stimulus funds. On Thursday, he drove off in the vehicle of South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and that was the last time he was seen.

Since then the whereabouts of Mark Sanford is unknown, even his wife does not know anything about that or at-least she said so. However, Joel Sawyer a spokesperson for the Governor released a statement according to which Mark Sanford is simply taking a break.

Joel Sawyer said, Governor Mark Sanford is taking some time off from his office this week to refresh and reboots himself after the stimulus fight and the governmental session.

In addition, Sawyer said, that he Governor Mark Sanford told his whereabouts to his staff before leaving last week and that it will be difficult to reach him. However, Joel Sawyer did not specify whether he himself knew the whereabouts of the Governor; on the other hand, frustration grew in some over the fact that he did not place anyone in charge while he is away.

A democratic representative and State Senate Minority Leader John Land have blamed Mark Sanford for engaging in erratic behavior.
