Marquette University is an American private institute. It was established in 1881.The university was founded by John Martin. Its campus is located in Wisconsin. It is a member institute of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. The university accommodates around eleven thousand and five hundred students. It is one of the largest universities in the region. It is also known as the largest Jesuit institute in the U.S.
The university started to educate the German people with catholic education. The university also acquired the college of physics .The university later opened a variety of departments which included the department of medicine, Pharmacy and had its own medical college. The university team takes part in games such as tennis, women’s volleyball, soccer and basketball. The university was also named as the best college basketball team. The university basketball team will be played against the University of Washington on Thursday on seventeenth March.
