Maura Tierney illness delays Parenthood—Because of an unspecified medical matter involving star Maura Tierney, NBC has delayed the debut of its new fall drama series “Parenthood” from 23rd of September to midseason (normally November to February) for a moment. NBC has released a statement on 10th of July in which it is mentioned that the show that based on the 1989 film starring Steve Martin was scheduled to start production on 27th of July now has been pushed back 8 weeks because of “Medical Evaluation the Maura Tierney is undergoing”. It is the first priority of for “NBC, Universal Media Studios and Imagine Television” of the well-being of Ms. Maura Tierney. Unfortunately it is the second time filming on “Parenthood” which has been put on delay due to adverse conditions. In April, production on the show was blackout for 2 days after NBC vp drama Nora O’Brien died suddenly on the Berkeley, Calif.
“Parenthood” depicts the connection among four siblings (Dax Shepard ,Tierney, Erika Christensen, Peter Krause) and their parents (Craig T. Nelson and Bonnie Bedelia).
