Maura Tierney illness delays Parenthood—Because of an unspecified medical matter involving star Maura Tierney, NBC has delayed the debut of its new fall drama series “Parenthood” from 23rd of September to midseason (normally November to February) for a moment. NBC has released a statement on 10th of July in which it is mentioned that the show that based on the 1989 film starring Steve Martin was scheduled to start production on 27th of July now has been pushed back 8 weeks because of “Medical Evaluation the Maura Tierney is undergoing”.
