Mayim Bialik’s full name is Mayim Hoya Bialik. She was born in San Diego, California on 12th December, 1975. Mayim was born in a Jewish family. The name of her parents are Barry Bialik and Beverly Winkelman. Beaing a Jewish she was raised according to the standards of Reform Jewish religion.
In late 1980s Mayim started her career as a child actress. Mayim won the “Best Young Actress” award in 1989 in “Young Artist Award” category for her role in “Beaches” 1988 a Motion Picture Movie. She also appeared in the series “MacGyver” as a guest start in “Lisa Woodman” character. 1991 become the success year for Mayim when she was casted in the sitcom “Blossom”. She was also casted in “Fresh Prince of Bel-air” the both shows become very popular not only with younger viewers but these shows attracted various people closer to them. Sitcom “Blossom” was canceled in 1995 after five seasons.
After taking gap of nearly 10 years from show business Mayim once again appeared in a movie in late 2005 “Kalamazoo?” After that she also acted in a comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” presented on “HBO” in the character of “Jodi Funkhouser”, she played the role of a lesbian. By that time Mayim was a fat girl so no one wants to offer her major roles in any movie or TV series after that the only roles being offered to Mayim was to play a fat lady in the TV show Fat Actress that was not watched by many people.
Mayim was a pretty girl in my opinion but by becoming a fat lady she eventually has destroyed her career other than that all I can say is I hope she has no regrets about that.
Mayim recently appeared once again in the episode of “Bones” on April 15, 2009.
