It is the well-celebrated occasion of Halloween in the United States and other parts of the world and everybody is busy in their respective plans to celebrate festivities. They are busy in stores, shopping malls and other places to buy stuff of their choice. But it is the same day when Melanie Melanson disappeared in woods in 1989.
It has been twenty years since then and there is no clue about her whatsoever: where she went and what happened to her. On the same day twenty years back, Melanie Melanson was in a school party in the woods on the suburbs of the city. Detective Mike Pandolph was working on the case. He told that Melanie joined a different age group of her school fellows who were at a certain distant place from her own group’s location. After that moment, nobody saw her again.
Melanie Melanson was 14 years old and everybody was older than her. She was very excited about her joining with group kids who were much older than her. She had a lot of future endeavors to pursue. But the parents and police is of the view that she most probably died and couldn’t see her 15th birthday. One of her aunt feels the intense pain for her and express that it has gone so many years and there was no clue leading to her. The most important thing to ponder is that she was the daughter of quarrelling parents which developed rebellion in her. She left her home many times to have a “safe haven” and to live with her aunt and grandmother.
The family environment which she experienced had great impact on her psyche and probably had something to do with her disappearance.
