Micah and Katie are new to silver screen. Yet the popularity of the film “The Paranormal Activity” is sure to rock the boat for them. Whether you like the movie or out rightly hate it, one thing is taken to be sure, it would have made you think and talk about it. For people like me who are bored to death by formula horror movies, Micah, Katie and their new film The Paranormal activity is just a blessing. We have written so much about the movie that we would like our readers to have a look at some not much talked about aspects also.
It took almost two years for Director/Writer of the film Oren Peli to get the film released to theatres. The original version was ready in 2007 and as Paramount got hold of the movie, it is rumored that several nips and tucks were made to make the plot more appealing. The relationship between Micah and Katie was highlighted and the scenes showing both of them in the camera were added.
Most of the tinkering was done with the end of the movie. The gossip has it that there were several ending scenes that were shot to chose from apart from the one that has been selected in which Micah runs down the stairs in order to save Katie and instead we hear him shrieking. Micah gets thrown towards the viewers/camera and Katie is seen standing near his dead-body.
The alternate end scenes were shot where Katie is seen bathed in blood with some sharp object with which she has killed Micah and the one in which Katie commits suicide after killing Micah.
