Left-wing to the core and charismatic to the end Michael Foot passed away at a ripe old age of ninety-six.

Michael Foot had been patient in his ambition to become the leader of his labour party and patience paid its virtue when he was chosen leader at the age of sixty-seven with most of his energetic years spent.
Michael Foot was born on the twenty-third day of July in the year 1913. In his life he has been a writer, a member of the parliament and the leader of the opposition. Michael Foot strongly believed that the world should be disarmed of its nuclear arsenal, that the state should own all major industries. You could say that he was a nationalist with a clean intention if you may. He served as a member of parliament for a decade running through the mid forties to the mid fifties before taking a five year leave after which he was elected as a parliamentarian again through the 1960′s by-election. He then served for thirty-two years till the year 1992.
