“48 Hours Mystery” which is a news magazine series for the CBS network channel showed a one hour segment on the mysterious death of Jan Roseboro, the wife of Michael Roseboro, who was found at the bottom of their swimming pool in their house. The death which was reported soon after when Michael Roseboro called the emergency service is now believed to be a case of brutal savagery of none other than the husband himself.
At first it was observed that Jan had died due to swallowing water and drowning but then later evidence showed that she had actually been strangled and beaten to death by Michael Roseboro before being chucked in the pool like an inconsequential piece of garbage. The murder took place on the twenty-second day of July just two years ago in the annum 2008.
The television show on CBS showed interviews of Michael Roseboro which took place in Reading. The reason why the interviews were held in Reading was that Michael Roseboro’s lawyer Allan L. Sodomsky was based in that city.
Michael Roseboro has been convicted of first degree murder and has been sentenced to life imprisonment; the option of parole has been taken away from him. He and his wife had four children together when he started going out with Funk who was also a mother of three.
On the show there was a lot revealed about the relationship between Funk and Michael Roseboro as telephone conversations were played between the two while he was in prison.
The motive for the murder was unclear before the police found an extraordinary amount of e-mails between the two which revealed the intensity of their relationship.
