Tareq and Michaele Salahi don’t fit strict definition of Taleban but the couple’s actions on Tuesday night were little less than a full fledge security breach. It was the first state dinner in White House, given in the honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife. Tareq and Michaele Salahi were not on the invitees list yet both conveniently bypassed the multi-layered security at White House and later posted the photographs of their “achievement” on their Facebook accounts. One of the photographs shows Michaele Salahi with Vice President Joe Biden and yet another shows Salahi standing with Marines – as if to say “look at the morons!”
The caption with the photographs said that the couple is honored to be at White House and with esteemed guests. When the couples’ representative was asked about their actions, there was no clear answer coming. Salahi’s said that they were invited but it was a last minute decision. Well the White House is still unaware of the last minute decision and has denied that the couple’s was invited.
As many possible explanations are being theorized, what everyone has back of his mind and is not asking is, certainly the news of couple breaking the security would have reached all sorts state enemies. Wouldn’t the news be enough to encourage them to come up with some sinister plan to try to break it?
Michaele is aspiring to star in upcoming “Desperate Housewives of Washington” and the breaking into White House seems to be a cheap publicity gimmick.
Michaele Salahi is former Redskins cheerleader and was dressed in red traditional Indian dress on Tuesday.
