First screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in the year of 2006 Mini s First Time is a comic type drama that stars Alec Baldwin and Nikki Reed. The concept behind the Tribeca Film Festival was pioneered by Robert De Nero, Craig Hatkoff and Jane Rosenthal and has been taking place every year from the annum 2002. Mini s First Time was screened on the first of May when the Festival made its fifth ceremony and was well received by the audience. Three months later in the month of July Mini s First Time was released to a limited extent on the fourteenth of the month and then in October the film production studio of HBO Films launched the movie for an open market DVD release, this happened on the twenty-fourth day of the month.
The movie Mini s First Time starts off with Mini, played by the actress Nikki Reed, giving her high school graduation speech to a crowd of fellow students and their parents. Mini is an intelligent person who is rather easily fed up with things; this is where she gets her inspiration to try out things for the first time. She decides that she’s going to become an escort girl so that she can add it to the list of her many “firsts” but then is let down by her first client who feels too guilty to make proper use of her services. Mini s First Time becomes an intriguing one when her next client shows up to be her step father. At first he isn’t too pleased with the idea of it all but he eventually breaks ice with her and starts having a fling that ends up creating a lot more complications than anyone had expected.
Mini s First Time continues to get more interesting as the minutes of the movie tick away and her mother commits suicide, her dad get imprisoned and an overambitious detective sets to make things worse for Mini.
