This time it is not a rumor Miss California did lost her crown on Wednesday June 10, 2009. The 22-year-old Carrie Prejean “Miss California USA” lost her crown, the action came a month after Donald Trump publicized that she would keep her crown. It all started after Carrie Prejean comments at nationally TV Miss USA pageant regarding gay marriages, when she said that people are free to do, as they liked but marriage should recognized only between a man and a woman.
During the press conference held at New York, Mr. Donald Trump stated that he has no problem with Carrie’s comments regarding gay marriages; he said Prejean was asked a tough question and she gave a very honest answer.
Moreover commenting over Prejean’s semi-nude photos, he said that he has evaluated her photos and these pictures cannot become a reason for her disqualification.
Carrie Prejean was also under inquiry by organizers of Miss California U.S.A in last May, when her semi-nude pictures hit the internet.
Whereas a spokesperson for K2 Productions “organizers of Miss California Pageant” confirmed that Miss California lost her crown, due to the contract violations and missing scheduled pageant events.
On the other hand, “National Organization for Marriage”, a group that is against gay marriage, criticizes Trump and Miss California pageant organization in a statement.
Carrie Prejean was not available for the comments. Tami Farrell, Miss Malibu, will instantly assume the title of Miss California.
