Morgan freeman was born on the 1st of June 1937 in Tennessee. He is at this point in time; aged 72.He stared his career as an American actor and became a film director. His famous movies include the dark knight, Million Dollar Baby and wanted. He has won golden globe and has been nominated for many academy awards. He appeared in his first film in 1971.His last film was “Invictus” starring as Nelson Mandela.
He is also nominated for best actor this year for invictus. He also narrated small clips for some organizations working for world peace and creating awareness for environmental changes. And his upcoming film “RED” in which he plays the role of Joe. He was also present at the Radio City Music Hall to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s birthday.
In August 2008 Morgan freeman had a car accident in Mississippi. He was driving a 97 Nissan Maxima, Morgan freeman was along with a friend Demaris Meyer when this accident occurred .The car flipped many times and resulted in injury on the left side of Morgan freeman.
They were heading home in Charleston. Morgan freeman left hand was in serious condition. The reason for the accident was, use of alcohol while driving. He was taken to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. He had a surgery for 4 hours. Morgan freeman left hand was paralyzed and he still cant move it. His injury included a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage. Morgan freeman left hand nerves were damaged that’s why it resulted in paralyzing his hand. The recovery of his hand is yet not sure.
